110 | Product warranty on Amevista

All products are guaranteed for 24 months from the date of purchase against all manufacturing defects. Damage caused by misuse of the product, including deterioration or wear and tear, is not guaranteed. The guarantee covers all manufacturing defects and does not cover any breakage due to misuse or poor maintenance and/or accidental damage by the consumer. Scratches or scratches on the lenses are considered as normal wear and tear and are not covered by the warranty, unless it is proven that the product had such defects at the time of delivery. Please note that Amevista is not liable for direct or indirect damages to persons or property resulting from product malfunction.

Proof of purchase is required to repair any defects covered by the manufacturer's warranty. We may ask you to provide photographs showing the suspected defect before requesting the return of the item.

What the warranty covers:

  • Missing components
  • Delamination of sunglass lens coating
  • Bubbles or imperfections in the lens coating
  • Flaking or deterioration of the frame
  • Welding defects

What the warranty does not cover:

  • Rod misalignment
  • Normal wear and tear (scratches)
  • Damage caused by accident, negligence, shock, misuse or incorrect storage and/or maintenance of the product
  • Damage caused by chemicals
  • Unauthorised modifications or repairs 

 In case of a warranty claim, the shipping costs for returning the product are the customer's responsibility. Amevista assumes no responsibility for the shipping costs related to the return, nor for any damage, loss, or delays caused during the transportation of the product. To ensure the product's protection during transport, we recommend using a tracked shipping service and keeping proof of shipment. In case of damage caused during transportation, responsibility will lie solely with the customer. Once the product is received under warranty, it will be verified if the reported defect falls under the conditions provided by the warranty. If the product is not defective or does not meet the warranty requirements, the customer will also be responsible for the costs of returning the product to their address.
